MSc degree in Marine Geology, obtained in 1984 at the University of Bologna, in collaboration with the CNR Institute of Marine Geology. Experiences in planning methods concerning integrated coastal zone management. Member of the Technical Commission of the Ministry of the Environment established in 2006 as an expert in marine geology for the identification of the strategies and criteria for the coastal protection. Co-founder and scientific manager of the "Observatory on coastal erosion for the recovery and enhancement of the coasts". Co-founder and CEO of Arenaria (within the Maccaferri Industrial Group), owner of public concessions for the management of marine sandy deposits for coastal nourishment projects. Development of new eco-systemic approaches in the context of public-private collaboration for the management of functional maintenance of coastal areas.
