Francesco Falese
Master degree in Geology at the University of Rome “Sapienza”. Currently, he is a Technologist at the National Research Council (CNR) - Institute of Environmental Geology and Geoengineering (IGAG) of Rome. He has participated to several European and Italian projects, among them: individuation and characterization of sand deposits for the nourishment of beaches affected by erosion process; MaGIC Project; CARG Project (realization of the marine part of Geological Sheets at scale 1:50.000); European Projects such as EMODnet (European Marine Observation and Data Network), BEACHMIED, BEACHMED-e, and MEDSANDCOAST. He has participated also to several oceanographic cruises and he is specialized in the integrated analysis of geophysical (high-resolution single beam seismic and side-scan sonar) and sedimentological (grabs, box corer, gravitational and vibration corers) data.
