Senior Official by the Emilia-Romagna Region, DG Environment and Territory – Department for Soil and Coast Protection and Land Reclamation service. Geologist, M.Sc. degree in Geological Science in 1987 by Alma Mater University of Bologna. After 12 years of private practice in geognostic investigations and territorial analysis for spatial and urban planning instruments, hired as a civil servant in the public administration of the Emilia-Romagna Region. Firstly, in charge of hydrogeological risk assessment for river Basin Authorities plans (1999-2004) and then in charge of coastal management and protection, regional ICZM guidelines, management of European projects and international initiatives on Coastal Protection and Integrated Management (2004-2020, to present). Charged for the start and development of the “Bologna Charter Initiative” and coordinator of the BC Task Force within the working group on Integrated Maritime Policy by IMC-CPMR. Technical responsible for the E-R Region in the National Board on Coastal Erosion, coordinating the working group on National guidelines. Adjunct professor at UniBo within Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in WAter and COastal MAnagement, WACOMA 2017-2022. Currently WP leader in ETC coastal projects.
